Yes.
Finally.
For over a year, Lupe Fiasco has been at war with his record label, who wouldn't release the album he'd finished and given to them a long time ago. But now, things are finally sorted with Atlantic, and his long-delayed album "Lasers" finally has a release date: March 8, 2011.
That's still a while away sure, but at least it's a secure date right, instead of the constant "The album will be out soon!" crap we got for months. But, to ease the pain til then, we have the first official single:
Modest Mouse being sampled by my favourite rapper currently making records? Yes please.
(If this is the first single, then what was "Shining Down" supposed to be? Ditto for "I'm Beamin'".)
